Boy howdy, there is a lot coming into River Island for AW13. And I mean A. LOT.

This is always one of the strongest of the chains when it comes to its accessory offer and there’s definitely nothing to disappoint this season: a huge slew of bags, shoes, hats, belts and a whole ton of verging-on-just-the-right-side of blingy jewellery bits too; you’re gonna be in heaven if you like gold, embellishments, statement pieces and diamante.

That’s most of us, so.

No prices or individual launch dates on items unfortunately but some pieces are already in store and you’ll start to see things trickling in across late summer. Enjoy!

Kate's chartreuse bag.

Another two-tone bag, this one had a nice chunky feel to it and'll be nice for day.

Also in black, this slouchy envelope shoulder bag has a textural panel under the flap.

Please note to self a recent picture of Victoria Beckham for the silliest way to carry this bag. Awkwardly, on your hip, with your arm through the handles clutching it to you - or you know, normally like any other human being would.

A couple of big, big day bags.

Cat and chevron (CHEVRON KLAXON) beanies and leopard print boots. WHAT IS NOT TO LIKE?

A really, really, really OTT belt.

Continuing their domination of the accessory world, box bags are refusing to go away, despite the fact we cannot fit a damn thing into them.

This is really rather unusual, and quite gorgeous, eh?

Black and tapestry baseball caps with some embellishment details on the front. I'm thinking fashion victims-slash-hipsters only need apply?

Gold metal and leather cuff. Pretty chic, night time stuff.

"A little neck bling," says @likemamuse2tobake understatedely.

Laura's Donegal-bought sparklers.

Three more of the statement necklaces we'll be seeing instore during AW13.

Some of the rings that'll be landing. I'm liking that cat. Miaow!

And even more rings. Those metal box-style ones are really quite Pierre Hardy, eh?

The first of many, many shoes: These are a little Caroline Issa-ish, albeit monochrome.

River Island does some of the strongest and most directional shoes on the highstreet: the platform's clearly refusing to go away and they've embraced it again with this trio.

You can just see these nude and black strappy sandals being a going out classic for girls everywhere.

And even more party shoes: embellishment, stones and studs are huge for AW13. Plus, two metal cuffs we'll also see instore.

A quad of stilettos in various patterns and finishes.

The brogue's a big story again with the store rolling out two versions in monochrome and gold.

How's about some studded boots? These low-heeled Chelsea-alikes are sweet.

The buckle detail on these black boots is what makes 'em stand out, I reckon.

And if you really do want to wear white shoes after Labour Day, then hey! You can. Or peach ones. Up to you.

Love this duo and I'm definitely going to hunt the brighter version on the right hand side down. Oh yeah.

Two studded bags, bound to be popular sellers.

Bowler hats in pink, green and blue, leopard print, satchels, black and studs, oh - they're covering off the lot this season.

And a 'lil close up on those satchels at the back.
