€19.99 is the not-bad-at-all damage for the three 5ml minis that make up the summer 2013 minis collection from Essie. Culled from the larger six-piece summer range, you get a well considered edit of the whole.

Here’s the full-sized collection; each is €12.99 and comes in at 7ml each. So in the minis you get one green, one bright and one pastel: they’ve worked it out pretty well.

Each is opaque in two easy-to-apply coats and they all have some subtle shimmer. Shades are (L-R) Full Steam Ahead, Naughty Nautical and Sunday Funday. You’ve pretty much got summer covered off here: a pastel, a coral and a fun aquatic, and as I never ever finish a bottle of full-sized polish, I’m fine with the size.

But you know, minis, The brush. The brush on tiny polish is always crap isn’t it? Nope, on these it’s the exact same as it is on the full-sizes. Horrah! Seal-claps all round.

Whaddya reckon? Is €19.99 a decent price for three 5ml polishes and did Essie pick the right shades or is this one you’ll pass on? Drop me a comment below.
