Look for Dior’s AW13 Mystic Metallics (I keep thinking Mystic Meg) collection on counter from August 16th, which is hardly any time at all to wait, which is good news, because there are some really lovely pieces and shades in the lineup.
Like this 5 Couleurs Mystic Metallics palette, €56. Embossed with stars, fitting for its moniker, there’s another 5 Couleurs avaiable too in Bonne Etoile.
Newly reformulated Diorblush lands as well. €42.50 is the damage for each of the new blushers, now with micronized pigments and more whizzbang fanciness. In 25 shades, they’re divided into four colour spectrums – pink, red, coral and nude – and you can choose your preferred finish too. Decide on iridescent, matte or satin.
Maybe Dior has missed the boat on this one; maybe not. But there’s a Dior Vernis Mystic Magnetics, €26.50, in a deep teal shade, as well as a couple of more regular polishes in the collection.
These’re interesting: I haven’t had a swipe but on paper they sound like a cross between Chanel’s Illusion D’ombre and L’Oreal Paris’ Colour Infallible. At €31, they’ll come in six shades.
Not part of the Mystic Metallics collection, but too interesting to leave out, Dior has these two babies landing as well. They’re part of its Airflash range, which has gotten a makeover and a couple of new additions. Airflash CC Primer, €42.50, is an aerosol corrector for use solo or pre-makeup. Matte Touch, €42.50, is designed to set makeup and keep it there.
So now, tell me this: what do you really, really want from the collection?
