I’m a fan. I’ll stand up and say that I love all things leopard. Does this print float your boat?

And now that it’s been declared a neutral by all the fashion mags it’s worth even more in the style stakes. Just like black, white or navy you can pretty much throw a few – well, max two – leopard items at an outfit and it’ll work.

Accessories are the easiest way to wear this trend. Hurrah. For example a leopard print bag (Jerome Dreyfuss’ are really lusty if you can afford to splash out, above) makes skinny denims and a tee look more pulled together. Or wear a pair of leopard print pumps with another pattern a la Olivia Palermo and viola it makes a ho-hum outfit look cool.

Have we convinced you yet? No? A fashion friend told me she did a vox pop of fellas: corkers like trashy, cheap and nasty were bandied about… you get the gist. Bottom line is, lads hate it. But hang on, because if it’s something your man friend can’t stand then that’s a bonus in our book because it seriously ups the fashion ante.
