Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Eye Recovery Complex is an absolute gem of a product. It does wonders for the skin around my eyes, keeping it hydrated as I can suffer from dry patches. I can't be without this now.

I previously blamed this wonder cleanser for an acne breakout but I hold my hands up, Avène Micellar lotion for sensitive skin is lovely and does not give you acne, dirty pillow cases do. The lotion is really gentle, cleans sufficiently without foaming and doesn’t leave my skin with a tight, dry feeling.; @leche_vitrines

I like two things in a mascara; jet black formula and a brush that lifts and separates. My lashes are long, but invisible so I need to pack on the coverage without loosing volume. No mascara has compared to Benefit's They're Real. Instantly my eyes are open, my lashes look, well - frankly fantastic and I have NEVER had a clump. Ever.; @Lisa_san

I use Blank Canvas Six Contour Powder/Blush Palette #2 almost every day for contouring/highlighting and blush. It has six powders - two dark and light powders and two amazing blushes (peach and pink) They give a smooth shine free finish, it works for all skin types and you can mix and match the powders to get the right shade.; @SineadyCady

The Sleek blushes are to die for: they are super super pigmented.  They have the quality of a high end blush and they feel amazing on the skin.  They last all day and take very little to apply.  They are super cheap too.; @missninasworld

A new favourite lip product of mine is the Catrice Pure Shine Colour Lip Balms. Not only are they moisturising but they smell amazing too. I use the shade My Cherry Berry which is a gorgeous ‘my lips but better’ shade. With a brilliant selection of colours to choose from, dare I say these are my favourite lip pencils on the market right now?; @AllMadeUp21

Le Volume De Chanel Mascara is amazing ... the end. The 'snowflake' brush lifts, curls, separates and volumises all in one go. It gives a lovely fanned out, fluttery effect.  It is blacker than black, doesn't go dry or flaky, no panda eyes here. It stays put, but rinses clean off without any need for scrubbing. Brilliant stuff.; @YMagner

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 is one of my must have products for the past year.  It's one of those staples for me and I keep a tube of it on my bedside table and one in my handbag.  I love using it as a lip treatment and there's nothing better than lashing on a layer before bed and waking up with soft, nourished lips.  And it helps sunburn.  And you can use it as a treatment mask.  And it can be used on rough, dry patches on your body.  A.  Must.  Have.; @lovelygirlybits

Clarins Kohl pencil is my go-to pencil liner for daily application. It's pigmented, creamy and easy to blend. It lasts all day and can be built up to create a smoky eye. The giant pencil lasts a lifetime too!; @leannewoodfull

I'm addicted to winged eyeliner and this little pot of Clinique Brush On Cream Liner provides the blackest and long lasting flick ever! Lasts months and is great for sensitive eyes.; @yourbeauty26

This summer I've discovered a tan that I cant be without: Cocoa Brown. It really is pretty awesome; it doesn't irritate skin, it gives a gorgeous streak free even brown colour and it doesn't emit the usual biscuit stink other fake tans are known for.; @dollyrouge

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer is the greatest concealer of all time! At only €6-something a blip, it's genius. It covers the most horrific breakouts and hides dark under-eye circles. What's not to love?; @leannewoodfull

Literally a facial in a bottle, Dermologica’s daily microfoliant will revolutionise your daily skincare regime. Its micro-granules are gentle on your skin but will still remove a full face of heavy makeup, even if still on from the night before. The perfect waker-upper in the morning, simply pour half a tablespoon of the powder into wet hands and off you go.; @KateOlohan

I am in love with Diorskin Forever foundation. It's full coverage and has a great shade range. It's long lasting, which means its probably better suited to oily skin, but I'm dry/dehydrated and it's flawless. Perfection in a bottle!; @andie74439

I love wearing nail polish but hate the removing of it, especially when it comes to glitters. A friend first told me about Essence Nail Art Peel Off Base Coat and I decided to try it. What makes this stand out for me is the unique feature of letting you peel off your nail polish without needing a remover. It's a great price too at around the €2.50 mark.; @anitabeautyblog

I love Estée Lauder Double Wear Light Foundation because it is is the longest lasting foundation I have ever used and it has SPF 10 making it perfect to wear all year round. I have normal/combination skin and it works really well for my skin. If you have drier skin you may need to moisturise really well beforehand or wear a primer.

Bright Eyes by Benefit has been around for a while now. It’s a creamy pink eye brightening pencil that gives your eyes a vibrant veneer. It’s perfect for girls with smaller eyes in particular as they will look bigger.  I love this pencil as it’s a versatile product. Aside from my waterline, I also use it on my cupids bow to give the appearance of fuller lips and on any discoloration on the inner corners of my eye.; @RosesandRockets

When liquid liner is a struggle and using a shadow as liner isn't quite cutting the mustard, gel is your only man. Maybelline's Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner offering applies the smoothest and easiest of all those I've tried, and the brush that comes with it isn't half bad. A sister to Bobbi Brown's long-wear gel, the only real difference is the giant price jump.; @Aoifers

I use the F20 Flat Buffer Brush from the HD Face Collection from Blank Canvas Cosmetics to apply everything from primer, foundation, setting powder to bronzer and even blush. It applies foundation sheer to full coverage depending on the application used and you always get an airbrush look to the skin. Perfect!; @SineadyCady

My skin is so dry, its dry on my face, arms, back and especially my legs! I combat the dryness of my skin by doing a dry exfoliation before every other shower, using Soap and Glory Flake Away Body polish before I even get in the water.  It’s an absolute Godsend for removing stubborn false tan as well and lasts ages.; @Caoimhe_McC

I might talk an awful lot of waffle on the blog, but if there's one thing I know, it's mascara.  Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill is the best one I've ever tried to date.  It gives the longest, fullest, swooshiest, thickest, curliest lashes and although some others come close to it, they can never reach it in terms of how amazing it is on my lashes.  It's the best high end mascara on the market.; @lovelygirlybits

There's not much to say about Kiehl’s Creme de Corps body lotion except that its friggin' amazing. Skin feels instantly hydrated and silky smooth. Slightly on the pricey side but worth every penny.; @llandmakeup

Whether I’m channeling my inner Marilyn or just want to give my outfit a bit of oomph, a red lippy is my ultimate make up bag must have and Mac’s Lady Danger is by far one of the best red lipsticks on the market. It’s bright and bold with a matte finish and its orange-y hue won’t wash you out. The perfect product for a quick day to night transition.; @KateOlohan

I adore Lancôme La Vie est Belle. It's deep and seductive, it just pulls you in. It's a perfect scent for any time of year, I'm on my third bottle in less than a year and I just cannot get enough!; @andie74439

The latest make up offering from Laurent, Teint Touche Eclat in BD50 provides the most stunning medium coverage foundation with enough strength to conceal blemishes and redness yet enough transparency to embrace freckles and allow the skin to breath. The luminous dewy finish is nothing short of fabulous and creates the perfect balance; giving your skin a gorgeous glow without looking shiny.; @MakeUpFairyPro

L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection 15 seconds Miracle Oil is an amazing cleansing oil that breaks down even the most stubborn makeup. Affordable and accessible, it is ideal for fast, yet proper cleansing.; @yourbeauty26

I can't live without everything from La-Roche Posay. it's skincare is targeted to your exact needs, with scientifically proven ingredients and no fragrance/sensitive skin irritants. In particular I'm loving the Toleraine Teint Mineral powder foundation which is a godsend for my oily skin in summer. Set with a thermal water spray it gives flawless, non-powdery coverage for imperfections, with SPF 25.; @dollyrouge

Mac Creme Cup Lipstick is my absolute favourite everyday lipstick. A really wearable pink toned nude, suitable for so many skin tones and ages - definitely the most versatile lipstick. It is also a cremesheen which means it's a rich creamy product and not as drying as other lipsticks.; @llandmakeup

I only recently realised how obsessed with Maybelline Colour Tattoo I am, having instinctively picked up a new one yesterday purely because "I don't have this one." Something about how my eyes sit, eye shadow can struggle to stick around all day. But not these babies. I see these as perfect day-to-night shadows. Easy to apply on even the bleariest of early-morning eyes, but with stunning colour payoff and unbelievable shimmers (especially Bad to the Bronze and Pink Gold, oh be still my heart). They have the uncanny ability to make 30 seconds and a swipe of the finger look like I know what I'm doing.; @Lisa_san

Make Up Forever Face and Body liquid make up in shade 20 is an oil free foundation which is suitable for all skin types. When choosing a foundation I have to consider my dry patches and oily t-zone and it does the trick for both. When blended it leaves my skin with light coverage and a very natural finish. The coverage can be built up from light to medium without compromising the finished look.  It’s by far my favourite foundation as I want the most natural looking finish possible whilst getting coverage at the same time.; @RosesandRockets

A perpetual sufferer of under eye bags, I'm constantly on the lookout for a truly brilliant concealer that can simultaneously make me look more awake and less corpse-like. I struggled to find one that did both (I've pretty much tried them all) until I found Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. It covers both dark circles and blemishes without gathering in fine lines and it has no unpleasant brown undertones like certain concealers I could mention. Ahem, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.; @Nursefancypants

There's a special place in my heart (and on my face) for La Roche-Posay Nutritic Intense Riche. This little beauty saved my skin from the brink of complete dehydration and general disaster. At an amazing €20-odd I don't think I will ever accept a higher-end cream will do any better! For some it makes an amazing night-cream, but my skin drinks it up and I wear it every second of every day.; @Lisa_san

Nuxe Fondant Body Scrub gently exfoliates the skin and refines the skin texture meaning impurities are eliminated. Abrasive enough to remove dead skin yet gently enough to use frequently this is the ideal body buffer. The scrub contains orange, lychee and walnut extracts which combine with the almond and orange flower petals to create the most unique holiday-like scent.; @MakeUpFairyPro

I would say Origins' Drink-Up Intensive Overnight Mask is for dehydrated skin as it's designed to "quench skin's thirst." I love it because it's one of the very few products I've found that when I apply it to my poor dry face, I instantly feel a sense of relief - it's just that good and that comforting. Plus it contains lots of lovely stuff: apricot kernel oil, avocado oil and mango butters, for example.; @Nursefancypants

I love the day cream, night cream, cleanser and toner in the the Nivea Pure and Natural range. It feels amazing on the skin and the fact that it's pure and natural means everyone can use it.  Plus it smells amazing and my skin feels so smooth and soft all day and all night long. Not only that, it's as cheaps as chips.; @missninasworld

I just cannot fault the Real Techniques Brushes. They never shed. They apply makeup flawlessly and they are a bargain price too.; @VonFluffy

Where other moisturisers promise a youthful glow and toned complexion, this lovely hydrator by Ren, Vita-Mineral Day Cream, delivers. While it’s more famous siblings (Rose Otto Body Oil and Gylcolactic Mask) take all the credit, this pump action perfectioner deserves more love. It’s packed with bio-extracts and smells like roses. Recommended for normal skin, of which mine is nowhere near, but still works a treat.; @leche_vitrines

Revlon Lip Butters are so moisturising while giving a pigmented sheen! Great for dry chapped lips, or even just during the summer months! Also, reasonable price so it's ok to own one in red ... pink ... nude ... coral ... isn't it?!; @RaraGiggles

Soap and Glory Righteous Butter is equally as dreamy as its exfoliating counterpart, it even smells as yummy. The shea butter and aloe vera formula looks like trusty Sudocrem in the tub, but smoothes into skin so easily, it's literally all absorbed before I can even finish applying it. It works wonders on really dry skin like mine. When I am on holidays I keep it in the fridge for a soothing, moisturising treat when I get in from the sun. This
tub lasts ages, and people have often asked me if I’m wearing Miss Dior perfume – score!; @Caoimhe_McC

If you want great quality lipsticks, you can't go far wrong with the Kate Moss for Rimmel Lipsticks line. Since their launch last year, I now have nearly every shade of both the original and newer matte formulas. They hold their own amongst my higher-end lip products and don't tell Rimmel, but I'd happily pay twice the price! Shade #107 is my personal favourite; a rich vampy burgundy, perfect for A/W and amazing for all skin tones!; @makeupovermind

Having already repurchased this gem four times, needless to say I love Rimmel’s Stay Matte powder. I carry it around in my bag everywhere, which you could probably tell if you could see the grubby packaging! If you’re looking for a matte powder at an affordable price, check this out.; @AllMadeUp21

I am obsessed with red lips and Mac Russian Red is my favourite shade. It's a matte finish so it lasts a long time but doesn't feel drying and uncomfortable. It's such a flattering shade on a lot of different skin tones too.

Sally Hansen Maximum Strength strengthens nails so that they    don't break or peel at the ends. Being a nail art addict I use this product religiously to protect my abused nails. It's suitable for all nail types as it strengthens weak nails or reinforces strong nails. It's awesome because it can be used as a base coat, or if you're giving your nails a break it still looks pretty as a light pink polish all by itself!; @__MissMeg__

If you're like me and always decide to paint your nails right before bed or right before you need the loo, you need this top coat which dries within minutes, leaving the glossiest finish that'll have people asking where you got your Shellac done.  They won't understand you when you say it's Seche Vite and will probably think that's a new spangly version of Shellac.  But no, it's just the best top coat of all time and I've repurchased this over and over.; @lovelygirlybits

Serozinc is unfortunately not available in shops here so I am having to get my fix from a colleague currently living in France. Serozinc is, for want of a better few words, a spray-on toner that keeps my skin super clean and clear.; @dollyrouge

Nars says Sheer Glow is suitable for normal/dry skin. I have combination skin and it works just fine with a bit more powder on the t-zone. For oily skin I'd say Sheer Matte would be better. The colour is a perfect match for my typically Irish, pale-with-rosy-cheeks complexion. It's not sheer exactly, more satin and buildable. It has a lovely, lit from within, your-skin-but-perfected finish.; @YMagner

Curling your lashes before applying mascara makes all the difference to your entire eye look. I've tried other lash curlers over the years, but Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers really does live up to the hype. A tad pricey, but an invaluable tool in my eyes (cheesy pun intended)!; @makeupovermind

I have been on the hunt for a Bioderma dupe for quite some time and L'Oréal Paris 3-in-1 Purifying Micellar Solution has exceeded my hopes and now successfully taken Bioderma's place altogether. Its particles work by attracting and lifting away oil and impurities without the need for rubbing; simply sweep over the face, eyes and lips with a soaked cotton pad and instantly dissolve even waterproof makeup, leaving behind perfectly clean, non-greasy skin.; @MakeUpFairyPro

Skin79 BB cream: this Korean BB cream is the best I have come across in my quest to find BB creams for my pale skin. Many say they are for 'light' skin - but I end up looking like an Oompa Loompa!; @RaraGiggles

It is no easy task to find a matte contour powder suitable for the palest of pale skins, especially one at high-street prices. The Light version of this kit is perfect, despite how dark the contour powder looks in the pan, and it's easily buildable and blendable, depending on the level of cheekbone definition you require at any given time. The pearlescent highlighter is gorgeous, to boot.; @Aoifers

St Ives Blemish and Blackhead Control Apricot Scrub gets down    and dirty with your skin and leaves it softer than a baby's. Suitable for all skin types but geared towards acne prone skin, I've used it three-to-four times a week since I was 14 and I'm still smitten with it. That says it all! It also smells; @__MissMeg__

I used up Stila Set and Illuminate Baked Trio entirely, which I couldn’t believe, because I so rarely use anything up. I went so far as to break it open when the cunning little shaver seemed to be faulty for some reason. The actual reason: all gone. I love, love, love this, as it magically takes off oily shine and imparts glowy shine, whilst warming and brightening. Use this in winter and you’ll look healthy, and not like some wannabe Alpine snow bunny. This looks good on anybody, at any age, as long as you go lightly.; @SusanEConley

I have oily skin and its very hard to find a foundation to stay put. Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24hr Foundation has excellent coverage and lasts absolutely ages, even on the hottest days. Also it comes in a very good shade range with pale shades to suit the ghostly faced.; @VonFluffy

Too Faced Lash Injection: I love this pitch black mascara as it doesn't weigh my lashes down or look clumpy. As it’s a tubing mascara it’s wetter than your traditional mascara which enables the formula to wrap itself around your lashes. I adore this mascara as it adds lots of volume and allows you to build length to your heart’s content.  Unlike most long-lasting mascaras, Lash Injection can be easily removed with warm water.; @RosesandRockets

Tough Stuff is the latest product from Cocoa Brown. Suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin and is perfect for any avid tan user. It’s a body scrub to to remove old tan from rough areas such as feet, elbows, hands and knees. It leaves skin soft and silky, making it the perfect exfoliator to prepare skin for tanning. My favorite thing about it is the scrub is pink and has a very runny consistency so it pours out of the packet very easily. It can be used on wet or dry skin and washes off so you’re not left with any residue.; @sarah_hamersley

Tresemmé Texture Style Backcomb Dust is a little pot with a lot of power! A little shake of dust will add instant volume to lifeless hair whether you’re going for a 60s beehive or just want an extra bit of bounce to your blowdry. Use a little shake on fresh hair and give a 'jeuje' to get it into the roots. Start your backcombing and watch how hair will look bigger and stay exactly where you want it to.; @KateOlohan

I started using serums maybe a year ago when I began to notice a few fine lines. Super Facialist by Una Brennan Neroli Firming intense Facial Serum is appropriate for any skin type and any age, but especially for those concerned with hydration and aging. Pop this on cleansed skin followed by your moisturizer, and let the hyaluronic acid help to aid hydration.; @llandmakeup

I am a styling product hussy, and switch allegiance willingly and often. For the past two weeks — which in, like, dog/hair years is a millennium — I have been all about Uniq One Coconut Hair Treatment, as it makes my hair look like I’ve had it did. The light spray has got frizz control, heat protection, UVA and UVB filters, amongst other qualities, and it’s not so terribly coconutty that you’ll smell like last call in Ibiza. Unless you want to, of course. Not judgin’!; @SusanEConley

I am a "rush out the door I'm late again" kind of girl in the mornings so a slick of light nude-coloured shadow shade and one of Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide On bright eyeliner pencils (like Covet - an awesome green or LSD, a sparkling navy) creates a "look, I made an effort," illusion. Time it takes? Three seconds!; @RaraGiggles

Part of my daily rotation is Urban Decay's Naked Flushed Palette. This contains bronzer, blush and highlighter in perfect tones for pale skin. The packaging is neat, sturdy and contains a mirror, so it's very travel friendly too.; @dollyrouge

I'm a recent convert to red lipstick and Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl is the one that did it for me. It is a chubby lip crayon in a bright matte red with a hint of fuchsia, perfect for a cool skin tone. A quick scribble on the lips and you're out the door. This sucker lasts and lasts, it's not drying and feels comfortable on the lips. You do need to sharpen it but I've had mine two months and having worn it maybe eight times I haven't had to sharpen it yet.; @YMagner

I love Vichy Normaderm Total Mat Moisturiser for under make up. It adds a bit of extra insurance for oily skin and keeps shine at bay all day. It's also great for skin prone to spots as it reduces the production of sebum.; @VonFluffy

A fragrance that is new to my collection, Victoria’s Secret Lemon Escape is a gorgeous summery scent that is just heavenly. A mixture of sweet lemon and coconut, for me this makes the perfect combination. Unfortunately this lovely brand isn’t available in Ireland; however there have been whispers that a store is opening in Dublin Airport. If this is true I’ll be booking a holiday very soon.; @AllMadeUp21

Lotion Yon-Ka is the perfect alcohol free toner. It suits all age groups and there are options for dry/oily skin. The scent of this product is just divine - if I could have my house and all my belongings smell like anything, this would be it!; @andie74439

Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking Mascara is just the best mascara I've ever used. It really does provide a false lash effect without clumping and bizarrely, it also smells really nice, although that's neither here nor there really. I know there are excellent high street mascaras available for a fraction of the price but I've yet to find one that impresses me as much as YSL's offering.; @Nursefancypants
