Oh admit it, you love a bit of Jo Malone, don’t you? So here’s an early Christmas present for your eyes in the form of some of what the brand’ll have on offer for seasonal gifting.
By the way, see that above? That is how the brand introduced the press to the collection. With a room at the Merrion decorated full-festive style, and a meal that included all the December 25th trimmings. Yup, even sprouts.
A brand staple by now, the Christmas Cracker, €36, is a lovely thing: it contains 15ml minis of Grapefruit body creme and Lime Basil and Mandarin handwash plus a 9ml Blackberry and Bay cologne. Last year’s one had a Lime Basil and Mandarin cologne and I’m still eking it out.
This year, there’s also a Christmas Ornament, €25, which you can hang from the tree. It’s got two classics in the form of a 15ml English Pear and Freesia body creme and a 9ml Pomegranate Noir scent.
A new fragrance, Blue Spruce is mmmm hhhmmm yummy. This completely not-Bah-Humbug-in-the-slightest deluxe candle is €150. It’s divine.
This is the scent of Christmas if you’re a Jo Malone fan: Pine and Eucalyptus. This is fabulous: rosemary-y and piney and all things seasonal and festive, it’s a brilliant burner for December. €50 for this feller, or you can get a huge multi-wicked one for €325.
This is a bit of a departure, and a fun one: the brand’s first Christmas stocking. It’s luxe, beautifully embellished and non-traditionally hued. €120.
Just to round this off, if anyone wants to get me something really nice, then this would be very acceptable: it’s the Home Collection, €180, and contains pretty much everything you’d need to make your place smell perfect. There’s an English Pear and Freesia scented sachet, one of the brand’s awesome diffusers in Pomegranate Noir (I still dream about mine), a candle in Blackberry and Bay and a Lime Basil and Mandarin room spray. Delightful.
Psst: apologies for the poor pic quality here; I am allergic to using flash and the light was low ‘n glam.
