Super-pretty and wearable makeup from Bourjois for Zoe Jordan
She’s got that sports-luxe aesthetic down, so it’s not too surprising Zoe Jordan’s makeup brief for her SS14 London Fashion Week show was inspired by a cool skater girl, all grown up. Irish makeup artist Attracta Courtney (who we met here) worked her maquillage magic, while Marina Sandoval did the nails using an ultra glossy soft white Bourjois shade.
“The makeup palette featured pearly silver toughened up by black khol rimmed eyes with an accent of blue,” says Attracta Courtney. She used products including Java Powder, that fabulous cream blush we went so crazy for and khol on the waterline of the eye. Interestingly, this was deliberately done less than perfectly for an effortless finish before blue khol was applied to the inner corner of the eye for a metallic flash.
She also applied a silver cream eyeshadow with fingertips over the eyelids and along the tops of cheekbones for a light-reflection, and lips were barely there with just some gloss.
