Irish gal Sophie Kennedy nine-to-fives it in PR at designer designer online store The Outnet. She’s a woman after our own heart with her addiction to accessories, j’taime for all things Parisian including an obsession with fashion force Carine Rothfield.

1. Home comforts

This summer, my boyfriend and I bought our first place and as a result I have developed a full-blown Pinterest obsession. I’ve spent the last few months preoccupied with finding cheap furniture and scouring eBay for quirky homewares. But now that the basics are covered, I have my eye on either a pineapple or Eiffel lamp from Graham and Greene. Choosing between them is tough as they both have the potential to be serious conversation starters at my next party.

2. Film fun

I’m so excited to see Fabien Constant’s documentary Mademoiselle C showcasing the life and career of Carine Roitfeld, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris. I know my colleagues and I will be talking about this film endlessly over the coming weeks. I plan to channel my inner Carine at the screening by wearing my highest heels and tightest pencil skirt.

3.  Finger lickin’

A ring by London-based jeweller Clarice Price Thomas will be my ultimate treat this season.  Influenced by her clockmaker parents, Clarice’s current collection gives an insight into what it is that makes a clock tick. The ‘cog’ ring is inspired by the tiny gears found hidden inside the cases of watches. They’re so delicate and quirky and I know I would treasure mine for years to come so it’s worth the investment.

4. Fashion show

I’ve booked tickets to see the Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore exhibition that goes on display at Somerset House November 20th. She was a true fashion icon and such a fashion maverick. I have no doubt that her personal collection of extravagant, designer pieces won’t disappoint.

5. Phone home

My personal style is quite pared-back but I really appreciate the power of an outfit-making accessory. I have shoes and bags a plenty but when it came to tech dressing I was out of the loop until I discovered Skinnydip London, an accessories brand that makes the most fabulously OTT iPhone cases. I instantly fell in love with the glitzy jeweled Perspex designs.
