Another from the nose of Oliver Polge (house perfumer at Chanel fact fans) and Christophe Herault, Rosabotanica sounds extremely intriguing for anyone who is turned off by anything that, is, well, gick.
Based on a “contemporary green/vegetal rose accord,” it differs from Florabotanica’s floral charms by quite a bit by the sounds of things. I’ve yet to have a sniff but have been assured that it will intrigue. Top notes of pepper and citrus are balanced by that aforementioned vegetal counterpoint made up of green and milky fig leaves. There’s a heart of an experimental rose accord plus green hyacinth and slightly camphorated cardamom. Yup. I am excite.
The sulky one is the face of the re-done bottle once more and prices kick off from €67.30 for a 50ml, going up to €95.30 for the 100ml. Look for it on launch from 29th January 2014.
