Bobbi Brown’s January-launching Nude Glow collection has a definite flavour of spring to it. If I was being particularly bold – and they optimistic – I’d say there are some nods to summer sunshine thrown in there as well.

Ok, we won’t see any of that in this part of the world for a while longer but the idea with this is faking it, with pretty washes of bronzey colour, sheer lipsticks in juicy tones and three interesting-looking palettes. Above is a snapshot of the collection, below we’re drilling down.

Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Shadow Palette

Eye Palettes will be a limited edition launch at €45 and come in three options. The Crystal Eye Palette houses Porcelain Eye Shadow, Opal Sparkle Eye Shadow, Mica Sparkle Eye Shadow and Angel Pink Eye Shadow. The warm-toned Bronze Eye Palette has Gold Bar Sparkle Eye Shadow, Amber Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow, Toast Eye Shadow and Rich Bronze Eye Shadow while the Nude Eye Palette contains Dove Grey Eye Shadow, Ballet Pink Sparkle Eye Shadow, Nude Eye Shadow and Cement Sparkle Eye Shadow.

Bobbi Brown Nude Glow sheer lipsticks

Three limited edition Sheer Lip Colors will also land at €26. Conditioning and moisturising, you just get a hint of coour with ’em. Shades? Pink Gold, Pink Flush, Pink Rose.

Bobbi Brown Nude Glow nail shades

One of the brand’s more recent – and decent – product additions, there are three limited Nail Polishes as well, €14. Colours are Pale Nail Polish, Ballet Pink Glitter Nail Polish, Bronze Shimmer Nail Polish.

Bobbi Brown Nude Glow brightening finishing powder in bronze glow

Then, of course, there’s this. A permanent product, it’ll join the two existing Brightening Finishing Powders on counter. Bronze Glow will be €55 and will contain “six luminous shades that blend together to illuminate skin.” There are also skin-kind goodies in there like Mulberry, Grape, and Scutellaria extracts to brighten the complexion. Use it to set makeup or as a highlight.

Bobbi Brown Nude Glow model shot - Katie Holmes

Here’s the model shot, starring Katie Holmes. have to say, I’m not convinced by her as the face of this brand. There’s something so feisty about Bobbi Brown herself and the fact that the line is so clearly directed that Katie Holmes feels altogether too wishy washy and personality-free for it.

That’s just me – drop your thoughts on her as the face and the Nude Glow range in a comment (login to leave one and add pins!).
