Space NK at Harvey Nichols in Dundrum is your sole destination for Hourglass and your equally lonely locale for the brand’s newest product. Yeah, that one every beauty buff wants to get her paws on: the February-launching Ambient Lighting Blushes.
At €35, these actually aren’t as dear as I thought they’d be and are nearly worth a purchase based on the pretty-factor alone. A hybrid of the existing Ambient powders – which you can buy depending on the sort of glow you want to drop on your phizog – and absolutely divine-looking colour, there are six in total.
Like all Hourglass products, they’re skin-kind: no parabens, talc or fragrance in these babies and there are lots of claims like “Unlike traditional blush, which tends to be flat, Ambient Lighting Blush uses Photoluminescent Technology to exhibit depth and dimension.” Right so.
Here they are.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat, “A vibrant poppy blush combined with Diffused Light for a subtle halo effect.”
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in in Dim Infusion, “A subdued coral blush fused with Dim Light to add warmth.”
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Ethereal Glow, “A cool pink blush fused with Ethereal Light for a moonlit luminosity.”
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush, “A champagne rose blush fused with Luminous Light to evoke a candlelit glimmer.”
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure, “A soft plum blush fused with Mood Light to brighten the complexion.”
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta, “A golden fuchsia blush combined with Radiant Light for a summer glow.”
Um, I can’t choose.
But if you’re gonna force me, then I reckon it’ll have to be Ethereal Glow or Dim Infusion. I think it’s The Love. You?
