So, the BRITS are next Tuesday, 19th February, Revlon is doing all the backstage nails for the celebs and ambassador Jenny Longworth’s come up with a cunning plan. Cleverly creating five new nail art designs around five decades of music genres, the brand created an illustrated gal for each, plus step-by-steps and handy pix. Good, huh?

Here’s what’s even better: WE’VE GOT ‘EM, ages before the action kicks off. So, whether you fancy yourself a bit of a disco diva, an urban queen or punk’s more your thing, you’re sorted. I know, I know: so good to you.

  1. Step 1: Start by giving the nail a gentle buff, then wipe over the entire nail with a cotton pad soaked in remover before applying one coat of Revlon Quick Dry Base Coat to prevent any staining from your colour and to help the enamel adhere to the nail plate.

  3. Step 3: Using a nail art striper brush and Revlon Nail Enamel in Gold Coin, create a half moon at the base of the nail. Mirror this shape at the tip of nail. Using Revlon Nail Enamel Glitter in Oi Beautiful, go over the gold tips.
  4. Step 4: Using the striper brush and Revlon Nail Enamel in Knockout, create an outline around the gold semi-circles. Using a Revlon concealer brush, clean up any mistakes around the edges.
  5. Step 5: Seal the design using Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat and finish using Revlon Liquid Quick Dry all over the nails to speed up the drying time.

  5. Step 5: Using a nail art dotting tool and Revlon Nail Enamel in Knockout, create a dot in the center of the white space. Seal the design using Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat and finish using Revlon Liquid Quick Dry all over the nails to speed up the drying time.
