Matte Multiples might not sound like a game-changing product but since the beauty community got wind of the fact that Nars had a collection on the slate for Spring, the rumour-mill sprang into action. See, it is big news: Multiples are all – right now – shiny, shimmery offers that you can use on the highpoints of the face. Matte offers the other dimension – sculpting – and there are three in this April 1st-launching seven-strong collection that you’ll be able to use to contour with.

Now, that’s interesting.

Interesting also is that Nars pulled the rug out from under its own embargo by launching three of the shades early in the US, so Frillseekers, you’re getting an ahead of schedule launch too – I was previously not going to be able to post this til mid-March.

Nars Multiple Matte

Nars Multiple Matte in Cappadoce, Altai and Anguilla

The edit’s split quite distinctly into bronzers and brights with three of the former and four of the latter, and they’ll be €41 each. While I’ve not tried one yet, the formula sounds intriguing as it can apparently be applied wet or dry. Nars says it’s “a creamy, lightweight formula that delivers buildable, long-lasting, hydrating color for lips and cheeks,” and “can be applied dry for a soft yet vibrant matte effect or wet for a rich and vivid finish that melts into skin.”

Colour me interested, and roll on April 1st. You?
