In the (almost) four years since The Hills ended (OH MY GOD WHERE DID THE TIME GO), Lauren Conrad’s not exactly been idle. There’ve been works of fiction, websites, beauty books, clothes lines, a kind of rapprochement with Speidi, an engagement and now this.
This? It’s a range of polish duos for her third, and most accomplished fashion line so far, Paper Crown, with Cali nail brand NCLA. Let me refresh your memory on them for a sec: we took a look back in January at the company’s wantsome nail wraps. I’ve been trying them; they’re brillo. There are also individual, interesting polish shades and formulations and it’s definitely a decent new addition to the polish panoply.
NCLAxLauren Conrad is in at Arnotts right about now-time, where you’ll be able to pick up six coordinating duos for €25 per set; that’s the standout pair above, if you’re asking me. The Boardwalk duo features Carousel, the glitter, and Cotton Candy, the pink creme.
As it’s LC, the whole edit is all about sunny days and warm nights, silky sands, blue skies and foam-tinged seas. There’s nothing to offend here; you’d wear every shade. Scroll for all the deets on the five other pairs.
This one’s Get Away: Sugar Coat is a crystalised white glitter (oh yum!) and Made in the Shade’s an ice-creamy brown creme.
Bronze metallic glitter in Take a Hike and a subtle contrast in the minty eggshell of Ocean View make up the Laguna duo.
Love this one. Malibu’s all about California Dreamin’ and Daddy’s Girl.
This one’s Pacific and is probably the least interesting of the lot. High Tide, the blue, is a creme, and Fishtail has light green shimmer.
Last up is Seaside with Skinnydip and the glittery Sea Glass.
Like the look of the line? Will you pop in to check it out?
