Got a few quid? Want a new bag? Heck, who doesn’t (the latter, an in anyways), and of course, and whaddya know, a new season brings about a whole new slew of bags to want.

From backpacks to minis to sleek shoulder pieces to crossbodies, bags are in all shapes and sizes this AW14. Colours? Neutrals, jewels and brights are big and I’m thinking I may find me something in a red before the leaves finish falling.

I’ve found 12 to have a look at; got a fave? Going to invest in a new bag? Lemme know below.

This is adorable. AD OR ABLE. I have admired it in person in BT's new bag hall and admiring is all I'll be doing: This Alexander McQueen Heroine bag is €1345. Gulp.

Coccinelle is not a brand I'd ever really look at; that's all changed for Autumn cos there are at least two bags I'd really like, such as this Roma satchel, €205, at Arnotts.

This is also firmly on my lust-list. Chloe, I said to myself, sure it won't be that dear wha? Oh. It is €1,045 at Brown Thomas.

I adore this Coccinelle bag as well; it's the Roma satchel in black, it's €285 and it also comes in an awesome taupe shade at Arnotts.

3.1 Phillip Lim.

Coach has some cuties this season too, like this structured piece, €185, at Arnotts.

Head to My Wardrobe for this Sophie Hulme mini soft flap bag (I have a bigger version of this and love it hugely; it's also immensely practical). This 'uns €522.

The Mulberry Tessie is the bag's new affordable line and this saddle bag is definitely the nicest piece. In a punchy orange, €690, it'll brighten up dull days too.

And lastly, trusty Zara, which (nearly) always comes up trumps. This Fur Snood with contrast dots is €39.95.

Understated, yet festive, this holly-embroidered jumper from Asos is a keeper at €43.

Love colour? This Marc by Marc Jacobs Washed up Nash crossbody, €425, at Farfetch, is cute and I am so glad this brand is taking risks again.

Topshop's Premium Clean Leather Tote Bag, £85, owes a nod to Phillip Lim, and looks like a great pick for work or college.
