Could Sharmadean Reid be the woman to revive our intense interest in all things lacquer?
Well, this is a turn-up for the books, eh? Nails, while still a thing, are definitely on the down side of the bellcurve they were soaring up in 2011 and 2012. Still a massive category, there’s no doubt, but we’ve moved on to newer beauty pastures.
So now seems like a slightly odd time for Wah Nails founder Sharmadean Reid to blam back onto the talontastic scene with a big old line that’ll sell at Boots. You might remember the previous collab with Models Own on nail art pens, but this is hers, it’s standalone, and it’s comprehensive.
Could she be the woman to revive our intense interest in all things lacquer? Time’ll tell on that score.
In the meantime, here’s what’s coming to a Boots near you this September.
This is The Nail Edit; a kit containing all you need for dickied-up talons.
Nail art pens for freehand drawing.
One of the model shots for the colours – this is Stack Me High, described as “a translucent jelly pink perfect for Vegas nights (and mornings…).” Hey, ok.
