It’s the little things that can make all the difference when it comes to makeup

Sometimes it’s the little things that can make all the difference when it comes to makeup; a touch of highlighter here, a slick of gloss there – you know how it is.

So with this in mind I thought I’d put together a little list of products I love to use for finishing touches, whether it’s on set working with models and actors, on a bride’s big day – or just on myself if I’m going somewhere fancy (swit swoo!) …

So, without further ado, here are my top five picks:

  1. Urban Decay All Nighter
A lightweight spray that will set your makeup in place without fading/creasing – a must for anyone who worries about foundation sliding or brows rubbing off when hot and bothered.
  2. Duwop Lip Venom
To give your pout a little added oomph, this cult classic gloss is great if dabbed on the center of lips for an instant, bee stung look.
  3. Paul & Joe Blotting papers
Oily skin’s best friend – avoid make-up going patchy by using these to blot off excess oil instead of overloading skin with powder.
  4. Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer #2
This gives the most beautiful, subtle radiance as a final touch to skin. I usually warm it up on my hand first and lightly tap onto cheeks, then blend into inner corner of eyes, and just underneath brows.
  5. Clarins Double Fix
A clear gel that seals any mascara to make it water and oil-resistant which is great; but I also use it to keep brows in place too.
