December is finally here which means the party season is officially upon us, although there’s a different kind of party happening in my world this week as it’s my birthday, yay!
Another year has passed but somehow I’ve remained, ahem… 25, which is a Christmas miracle in itself. For now though I’m putting all thoughts of mistletoe and tinsel aside and unveiling my top birthday wish list products, although if Santa’s listening I could wait a few more weeks…
Burberry Beauty Charm, €75
Completely unnecessary but oh so pretty, this designer charm (above) can hang off your bag or keys making everything look instantly more luxurious. The lovely little pink gloss hidden in one of the charms doubles for both lips and cheeks for on the go top-ups.
Shu Uemura Shupette Lip Trio, €34
There are two main reasons this makes it on my wish list – because Shu Uemura is a consistently high quality and reliable makeup brand and because I’m a total sucker for anything with a cat on it.
Alexis Bittar Liquid Gold Beauty Brushes, $58, at Sephora
The set would be amazing but I’d also be very content with the limited edition powder brush complete with travel pouch – neither of which would ever leave my side.
Charlotte Tilbury Future Vintage (Collector’s Edition), £250, at Selfridges
Okay, so no one in their right mind is actually going to splash out this kind of money on makeup for me; but a girl can dream, and there are worse dreams to have than unwrapping one of these.
Nars Virtual Domination Palette, $65, at Sephora
Technically this shouldn’t be on my wish list because I’ve already managed to (somehow) convince my poor brother to venture into Sephora to pick one up for me on a recent trip to America. Needless to say, with two limited edition blushers and three cult classic shades to choose from, I’m a happy bunny.
