The sales are groaning to a crap end, the weather’s miserable and the only light on the horizon is the fact pretty, pastel spring stock is starting to drop into shops.

If you hit up a Penneys branch this month you’re in for a nice surprise; there’s some really lovely stuff on the brand’s launch slate for January and February (and beyond) in terms of accessories, so I’ve picked out the nicest shots from the look book and done a roundup of what I reckon is worth a punt.

In even better news, a whole ton of things come in well under a tenner, so you can still buy even if you’re absolutely brassic post-Christmas. Thanks, Penneys!
